2010 COLUMBIA BLOWFISH HOST A COLLEGE PLAYER THIS SUMMER Host Family Program
Are You A Baseball Fan? Do You Support College Athletics? Maybe You Have Room For A Columbia Blowfish Player To Call Home For The Summer? . Players come from all over the United States to participate in the Coastal Plain League and to be a part of the Columbia Blowfish Baseball Team. ALL of our players requiring a host family are current Collegiate baseball players furthering their baseball careers. Collegiate players gain valuable experience and playing time by participating on teams such as the Columbia Blowfish. Our season runs from the last week of until early August. The Blowfish schedule has 56 games and the playoffs. There are 28 Home Games and 28 Road Games -

You will forever have the knowledge that you: Assisted a young Baseball Player pursue his dream of the Big Leagues. Provided a summer Home for a Collegiate Athlete. Helped the Columbia Blowfish Organization with its most pressing, and much appreciated need........A HOST FAMILY! Those interested in becoming a host family should be able to provide a bed, and adequate space for the player to store his belongings. The players are required to live under your rules, and to be a responsible member of your household. If being a Host Family interests you, the Columbia Blowfish would enjoy hearing from you.
The Coastal Plain League is the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league, heading into its twelfth season. Featuring 15 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, the CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with wooden bats during the summer months. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts.
